How It Works

How Solar Panels Work in 3 Simple Steps:

The sun shines on your solar panels, generating “DC” (Direct Current) electricity.

The electricity is fed into your solar inverter that converts into “AC” (Alternating Current) electricity.

The AC electricity is used to power appliances in your home while the meter keeps track of electricity used in your home or business!

No money down, flexible terms, & low monthly payments.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. When is a good time to have my new roof installed?

We install roofing all year round! The summer heat and winter cold will not affect the components or process of a roof installation. So, if you need a new roof, now is the time!

2. How do I know if I have hail damage and what issues does it cause?

Hail can loosen the protective granules on your shingles exposing the layers beneath to harmful weather conditions and UV. In time, leaks could start so it’s important to catch hail damage early.

3. How do I know whether or not I need a new roof?

(1) The most obvious indicator is leaks and water infiltration. (2) Your roof’s age; Asphalt roofing typically lasts 15-20 years. (3) Appearance; black streaks, warping, etc. If you’re unsure, ask us!

“From management to the workers, the communication, responsiveness to my questions, and job quality was excellent. My roof replacement was complicated by the need to remove and reinstall solar panels before and after the job, and this was done flawlessly and on schedule. My roof looks beautiful.”

Fernando Llanos

“The whole process could not have run smoother.  Tyler was extremely thorough in his presentation and estimate was spot on.  Pete was on top of each step during and after the project concluded.  The roofing team performed above and beyond my expectations. The Malarkey® Shingles were the right choice and look great too.”

“We worked with Blake and had the greatest experience. He’s attentive, courteous, and genuinely cared about meeting all of his customer’s needs. I love that Phoenix Exteriors is a one stop shop. They help communicate with your insurance, handle solar panels, and even help with obtaining HOA approval for color changes.”
