To put this in perspective, the 4.25 GWh of energy generated by Phoenix Exteriors’ solar systems is equivalent to planting an astonishing 177,727 trees! How is that possible? Let’s break it down:

• Carbon Offset Through Solar: Solar energy significantly reduces the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) released into the atmosphere. On average, producing 1 kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy from traditional grid sources generates 0.92 kg of CO2. By producing 4.25 GWh (4,250,000 kWh) of solar energy, Phoenix Exteriors has avoided releasing approximately 3.91 million kilograms (3,910 metric tons) of CO2.
• How Trees Absorb CO2: Trees are nature’s carbon filters, with an average tree absorbing around 22 kg of CO2 per year. To offset the same amount of CO2 avoided by our solar energy production, it would take roughly 177,727 trees to absorb carbon for a full year.
